best is subjective, what brewing method will you be using and are there any specific roasters you like now? I’m a big fan of Dayglow which curates light roasts from primarily international roasters, but might not be for everybody!

I’ve been using Stumptown for >1 year - usually Hair Bender. I’m able to pull decent shots in my Breville and it’s not bad as a pour over option either

I buy local now, but I was happy with Onyx and Blue bottle. For funky stuff, try Black and White. They have some cofermentation roasts that are very different (was fun once or twice)
