If we look into our daily human live more it could help us in making better design decisions. For instance, people generally don't like your making their decisions for them or forcing them into making decisions. We can incorporate this into our design by using suggestions when we have preference without annihilating the other option available to the user or making them less significant.

I completely agree that paying more attention to our daily human interactions can definitely improve our design decisions.
