Today marks 5 years clean and sober. Some thoughts on my journey. Early in sobriety I substituted other habits for my partying: video games, social media, junk food. Underlying feelings of anxiety, social pressure, am I good enough came up. And instead of distract. I leaned into them. Looked at the roots. Felt em.
