I have been so sick with Covid these past few days and everybody I’ve spoken to (over the phone) has been so nonchalant about it. It seems no one is particularly worried, or it’s reached a point of such intense normalisation that people can hardly remember how much of a stranglehold it had on our lives all those years ago. 

But more positively it has me thinking about the adoption of blockchain technologies. If we can normalise a disease that almost bankrupted the world and killed millions of people, it hardly seems extreme to imagine a near future where the world runs on cryptocurrencies and the internet is closer to democratisation.
