It was fun! 
We built the setup on the left photo in a vacuum chamber (I actually got to design all of it in solidworks) and then used the diamond pyramids to generate field enhancement effects and shoot an electron beam at a screen that was doped to light up whenever it got hit with electrons.

Fun to remember some of the OG lab days.
Spending hours trying to get shit aligned just right.
