Has anyone ever been to a cafe that does a really good pour over? Pour over is my preferred method, but even highly-rated cafes don't seem to ever do a good pour over. If anyone has, I'd love to know where so I can visit!

I bought my first V60 portafilter after tasting a V60 brew having amazing red berries notes at Ibrik coffeeshop in Paris (not worse a plane ticket still).

I was converted to specialty coffee by pourovers at specialty shops here in Pittsburgh. But I've had good pourovers in most cities I've traveled to. I find it helps to go at a time there's not a rush since a great pourover takes attention. But if you find a place with modbar their robotic pourover can be pretty great

my fav pourover i ever had was in Shanghai at SeeSaw. it was the first time beans from Yunnan were being grown & roasted in specialty shops in 2013. they were inspired by japanese pourover bars, and it shows in their obsessive approach to a clean cup.
