Teriyaki Chicken Recipe
**Ingredients:**
- 1 lb (450g) chicken breast, sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin (or rice vinegar)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
**Instructions:**
1. **Make the Sauce:** In a bowl, mix soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
2. **Marinate Chicken:** Place sliced chicken in the sauce and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
3. **Cook Chicken:** Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
4. **Thicken Sauce:** If desired, remove chicken and simmer the leftover marinade until it thickens slightly.
5. **Serve:** Drizzle the thickened sauce over the chicken and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
