A lot of people comparing it to clubhouse, but I think it's fundamentally different due to the async aspect. The UI is quite confusing, that's my only concern. Also, it would be a killer feature if they could use AI to convert text to voice - many times people use social apps in quiet environments where you can't talk.

Ya. The point is that they want the intimacy of people speaking. They don’t want the text to voice. That would be missing the point. Maybe it’ll change but I doubt it.

To compare to a social app that can be used anywhere is the mistake imo. It’s not supposed to be used anywhere. Same way as you don’t take a zoom meeting or date anywhere/ any time.
