Hey @frog and everyone else who participated We had a high intention for this round Ended up not having enough time to dedicate to it We feel like there wasn't enough depth to merit the original reward Prefer to save the ETH for future rounds when we can be more on it Sorry for the mess!

When you put up a bounty and open source feedback, there’s always a risk regarding the quality of work you’ll receive—that's the nature of contracting out work in general. If the quality wasn't up to standard, I would have liked to see the Verbs team take the lead here and steer the conversation to create a stronger feedback loop. Claiming the team didn’t have time to lead and follow though on this is a concern.

Rounds on the tail is a waste. The goal is engagement. And hope for a few flashes. I tend to agree with @frog here.

Rounds fails as a product if the round creator can decide if they’re satisfied or not and only partially hold their side of the agreement. I understand that you are busy but this could have been communicated at any time during the round. As a protocol guy I’m sure you can appreciate how this feels like a total cop out and the very sort of abuse of power crypto is supposed to be solving for

Is this a joke? Would you like me to go through and create a report on the various topics and discussions that happened during the round…. Deff merits 1ETH - you guys have a salary for $1M and your rugging the first round you deploy for 1ETH - make it make sense 😂

Unfortunate for us that spent time reading & thinking about the protocol but also understand that you were hoping for more participation! Some feedback for next time if you do it again: - Be more active & reply to all posts that are relevant. Hard to know if you've seen a cast or not if you don't interact with it at all - Moderate more. Maybe add a requirement that a cast needs a like from one of your accounts to be eligible for rewards? ~10% of the total rewards went to a cast with a picture of the quake devs and a "gm" cast
