I would love to have a farcaster client for the terminal, built in ncurses. I’m tired of browser tabs and inefficient electron apps. Would be happy to collaborate with someone on this as a little weekend project. I know ncurses very well, but not the eth API or how to interface w farcaster at the protocol level.

Post and read casts, DMs, your timeline, and other basics (eg look at a user profile). No image support to start, those would have to be opened as links

Nice! So you need to type a command to read the next x number of casts for example? I’m def into more CLI experience. https://www.warp.dev/ is also pretty cool

Not quite. That would be a CLI app. Curses give you access to the full terminal window as a dynamic, re-paintable screen, so you can construct richer experiences. For example, here’s someone who wrote a guitar hero style game in curses. https://youtu.be/LgvLfR2zG3g
