I love that everyone thinks AIs are going to solve communication issues that exist in call centers. News alert, human-to-human interaction is only going to be more, important not less. Hyperreal conversational models will be good for other reasons, not for solving customer service communication.

I think they have the potential to help resolve the lowest level of customer service tasks, possibly freeing up humans for the more involved stuff, but I also doubt that will be how the vast majority of corporations approach the topic
