For me, it’s ramen.

I will travel out of my way for an  incredible bowl.

I had ~20 bowls on a recent trip to Japan, have likely eaten a few hundred bowls over the last 7 years, and have a ramen instagram for logging.

I had some local award winning tonkatsu ramen yesterday, and it was the high point of my week 

Little hole in the wall strip mall joint doing well enough to get a mention (but not a star, sadly) in the local Michelin guide

The broth is sinfully rich, noodles on point, meat perfectly tender

I might need to go back tomorrow
