AI agents can be powerful tools if they’re designed to truly serve communities — not just entertain us with chatbot tricks. The real value comes when these agents are integrated into community systems: helping with local services, education, healthcare access, or even disaster response. If we’re just using them for casual chat, then yeah, we’re probably just playing. The challenge is pushing beyond novelty and building agents that understand and adapt to real community needs.
