OK, trying this to see if I've got it - I just listened to Tim Ferriss' podcast episodes featuring Todd McFarlane - he has some thoughts on the relationship between founders & fans that I think is REALLY important for a lot of people to hear...  

His thoughts on the status-quo (and why creatives/consumers should, as William Gibson wrote, "Distrust that particular flavor" is spot on. So much good stuff in this episode, plus his energy level is inspiring!
