Apple TV now supports more aspect ratio formats in tvOS 18.2

In the tvOS 18.2 update, Apple has expanded the list of supported aspect ratio formats, adding the popular 21:9 for projectors, as well as several other options. The new list includes:

• Automatic
• 16:9
• 21:9
• 2,37:1
• 2,39:1
• 2,40:1
• DCI 4K
• 32:9

This feature is useful for those who use Apple TV with projectors or screens of a non-standard format. To change the ratio, go to Settings — the Audio and Video section on Apple TV.
