the L1 bet is on degens doing swaps all on the same on-chain throughout this entire bull the L2 bet is on new or traditional web apps using existing L2s or creating their own to leverage censorship-resistant value both will do well, but L2s have exponential mainstream potential

imagine big corp decides to finally use the blockchain and make a big splash about it where are they most likely to build it? on a L2 where they can control or even 100% pay for user tx fees? or a monolithic L1 which is subject to different types of congestion / consensus risk? e.g., look at Coinbase / Base
