I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how much of our identity is truly ours, and how much of what we wear, buy, and even pursue in life is shaped by personal desires rather than external influences
imo, even though we live in an era where individuality is praised (hard to believe, right?), so many of our choices are still dictated by trends, brands, and social validation
Fashion, which once served as a primary tool for self-expression, now often feels like a cycle of conformity disguised as freedom. And it doesn’t stop there, it seeps into our lives at large, shaping the careers we choose, the lifestyles we curate, and even the way we define success
But what happens when we strip away these layers? What if we started making choices that genuinely resonate with us, rather than ones designed to fit an image crafted by others?
