As a UI/UX Designer, you can contribute a great deal to the mainstream adoption of Web3! When designing for decentralized applications (dApps), ask yourself these critical questions: → Will my non-tech friend be able to use this and understand everything? → Will they need to know a lot about Web3 before they can use this application? → Can they complete an action in just a few clicks? → Does the process feel like magic, or does it feel like work? It is important that you minimize technical jargon. For an NFT app, for example, instead of “sign transaction,” why not use “buy”? The point is; don’t overwhelm users with complex blockchain terms. Don’t assume they know everything about Web3. Focus on seamless interactions by reducing friction in the user’s journey. At the end of the day, Web3 is already complex; your job is to make it feel simple, intuitive, and effortless.
