excited to share the second piece from my essay series: Latent Reflections 💫🪞💫 002 is titled “Loaded Tokens” and discusses language as a: (1) medium of compression (2) tool for programming memory (both LLM and human) (3) prompting as agency preservation https://latentreflections.substack.com/p/002-loaded-tokens

@eclecticcapital.eth explores how ChatGPT’s persistent memory can be creatively repurposed as a metacognitive design space that enhance personal meaning-making and cognitive expression. "This is essentially the creative superpower that neural networks afford us with: the ability to harness other minds as creative tools." https://paragraph.com/@eclecticcapital.eth/latent-reflections-001

💫 NEW ESSAY 💫 excited to share the first piece from a new essay series I’m working on called Latent Reflections Latent Reflections is meant to be a space for those interested in exploring latent space primarily as a creative medium 001 is titled “Memory as Design Space” and discusses how persistent memory in ChatGPT reveals a new kind of design surface for modeling thought & building symbolic systems https://paragraph.com/@eclecticcapital.eth/latent-reflections-001?referrer=0x6C6Fa0C7461cBeD98c9B977B1914DDE694837344

Here is my conversation with @jimpo, cofounder/cto of Irreducible. Jim is a brilliant human being - he was one of the first engineers at Coinbase, went back to academia for a grad cryptography degree, is now making core contributions to zk. Here we talk about: - Binius as a proof system using binary fields - FPGAs, hardware, running a data center - the verifiable internet Podcast here: intothebytecode.com/49-jim-posen

Have been a fan since 2010 so was just a surreal full circle moment to soak in how prolific he’s become. I was also nervous about how he would manage performing on a stage like that without it coming off as gimmicky or sell out-ish, but the story he told about “The Great American Game” was a perfect way to thread all these needles together (Americana, current political climate, black American culture, his usual messages & tones, the Drake beef). Gave people something to think about rather than just something to look at (as always). Absolutely loved it 💫

obviously going to be Kendrick for me It would be totally fine if he never dropped any visuals along with his music because the storytelling & narration is so vivid and detailed that I can always imagine these scenes / sights within my own head in a very visceral way. Writing raps is just also probably the hardest form of writing because of the way you have to consider things like rhyme scheme, cadence, flow, etc. in addition to just writing great prose or poetry. Absolutely generational pen 🖊️
