Yeahhhhhh really feels like this ain't it. I saw a recommendation way back to make it so the top rankers have less and the bottom rankers have more, basically making the entire distribution less exponential. 

This feels like the opposite, which kills my motivation to participate

I went from 3 to 87 after making a couple of tips yesterday and today.

Oh I didn't even know the new rules are in effect. I thought it only takes place soon after the airdrop is live. Because my current allowance (14) is higher than my projected allowance under the new rules (3).

I think if you're not in the top 500 or so you won't be handing out 1000s again but yeah, it shouldn't be almost nothing. 

I had like 3500 at one point, and now it's 87. It's fine.

I'm at a higher rank now than I was when I was handing out 3500, significantly higher actually.

I'd spread it out differently myself.

Well, it's based on social rank now, so it's based on who follows you and not so much the engagement farming.

I'm not saying it's more equitable but it's definitely an attempt to shut down the farming / bots.

Is it fine though? Like why should the top 500 be dishing out 1000s at a time when the top 5000k are given 4-20?

It's honestly laughable. Especially when you look at the "quality" of the typical posts of the top rankers.... 💩 (engagement farming BS)
