this is my barometer for these tariffs. it's an intersection of multiple markets confluencing to keep a necessary product (and a necessarily "affordable" product) relatively price-stable. if my coffee grinder I paid 16 bucks for 3 months ago is drastically more than $20.66 in the coming weeks and months, you know shit is sliding sideways.

Interesting to note, y'all that despite all the goings on and hand-wrangling since I first posted about this, prices have gone down on some basic staple products we all get from China. Can't really understand that one.
