Sharing the reasoning behind why myself and Group Purple voted in favor of the Blvkhvnd prop "Feelin Purple"

I also want to touch on a few points. 

It's been quite the week on Farcaster with all these props & conversations about how governance should be handled. I see all the activity as a positive thing because both Purple and FC are relatively early on, and so shaping espc. how Purple should run is super important

In addition, though there's only one group @purple NFT so far, having a small group to thoroughly discuss proposals has been very helpful. 

It might be hard to sift through Telegram sometimes, but making sure there are stronger communication channels should be a key for Purple(or any other DAO tbh) going forward

In terms of this prop about Blckhvnd in particular, I can see why there were some concerns, but without speaking for the whole group I want to address some of these points from what I've seen personally:

-  5ETH for the devt. of a mobile app *that's already been built without any funding* and merch with a detailed budget isn’t a ton to ask for at all IMO
- ^ In addition, 3% for one prop isn’t a ton, there have been other 5ETH props, and the treasury is meant to be *put to work* It doesn't hinder Purple's growth.

- Given the track record shared in streams, casts, and the proposal, it seems as though Sirsu is more than capable of web3 onboarding and that Blckhvnd is a *very* successful organization that would greatly benefit from an app like Hvndcvst

And lastly, I don't think it will hurt Farcaster to try and onboard non-crypto users. Their community needs features Farcaster provides, it would benefit Farcaster to diversify the topics discussed  on the protocol, and there need to be more ways for existing and new users to connect beyond the "Twitter-esque" model.

There are certainly ways that Purple can change, but we wouldn't know what to change if the DAO hadn't formed! Learning through progress. Purple members aren't malevolent and while the direction could be more clear, Purple funds haven't been misused -- props have directly helped the ecosystem & its builders.
