Everyone wants an onchain version of The Amazing Race.

How are you thinking about the design of a mixed-reality competition that remains engaging in both physical and digital/onchain environments?

So my idea for Crypto: The Race is similar in style to CTG but removes all voting and social elements.

Daily challenges would go live each morning, and the last X% of players to finish are eliminated. It’s skill-based like Amazing Race, but keeps the online and onchain elements of CTG.

Entries can also be uncapped.

Yeah, that’s why we haven’t built it yet tbh. I haven’t quite cracked the code on it. Still just an idea.

Not meant to be a roast but I don’t think this would hit. It’s basically just be a gaming competition. Part of the appeal of amazing race is seeing the world through the eyes of the contestants, and the local challenges. 

Perhaps there’s a way to play into “zones” of crypto that you explore with challenges that are curated and thoughtfully related to the zone it could hit.

But something like “top 10% pinball move on, then top 10% breaker move on etc” feels too grindy
