Always find it amusing that I end up arguing in favor of Twitter decisions. Partially because I've spent the last 2 years examining every pixel of the UI—but also the brutal reality of most people's stated vs. revealed preference is they really value their Twitter audience.

Waiting to see you guys escape the influence shadow on UX. While the protocol stuff is nice, Warpcast is going to be the influential reference client and the more it weans itself from twitter and demonstrates new possibilities the better for all clients.
