Launch a native token for the protocol. I’m in crypto because I feel like when you blend modern software with the right financial incentives it can solve systemic problems. There’s problems with social media (Spam, AI content, Creator monetization) that Farcaster could better address with a token IMO.

I’d like to see it integrated in a way in which there is a financial cost associated with taking certain actions on the platform. And then the value accrued can be distributed to the users who create the most value on the platform. Maybe there’s a way to do this without a token, but not sure.

There's a cost in ETH to use the network. Unclear what another token would do that can't be done with ETH. The value in Farcaster is the distribution and as someone building an audience having the ability to have a direct relationship with said audience.

Yea I’m sold on the audience piece. An open protocol for social (similar to email) feels like how the internet would have been original built if social networks were prominent at the time. That being said, there’s other aspects of social beyond just the audience piece that matter. But I respect the focus.
