what's been (or continues to be) Dan/Varun's biggest mistake with Farcaster or Warpcast?

I mean I understand why they didn't prioritize video so I'm not going to call it a mistake. I'd say the biggest ongoing mistake is not having a dedicated UX/UI person. There've been a lot of bad UX decisions and persistent UI bugs over the last year

1-2 examples? Who is a good UI/UX person? I'm happy to look at their work.

To me, the Explore page is the biggest example of an area that needs better UX. The infinitely scrolling list doesnt scale well at the amount of users and channels grows so large. A possible solution would be several panels atop that page with featured, trending, latest, etc, and then perhaps a long list below.

Agree that Explore is bad, but it's a matter of prioritization. Minimal clicks on the page both from new users and existing users. So the focus is on the main feed where people spend 80-90% of the time. Most common way people discover users is through a cast in their feed. :)

A meta point: making every screen great doesn't get you closer to product-market fit. If you don't get product-market fit, the startup dies. So learning to live with a bunch of bad / failed screens is part of being ruthless from a prioritization standpoint. :)

why not test forcing the perspective instead of dumping the account list? twitter is follow 1 or more based on the niche recommendations chosen then its a quest to follow 5 more & to follow 3 topics feel like dumping activity to users forces them on top of the channel or iām only finding people in top user comments
