What’s the most credible argument that the current president can’t run for re-election yet can continue with the world’s toughest job for another 100 days?

The argument that 100 days vs. 4 more years is moot if you have another Cuban Missile Crisis in September.

under this model, its more about biden's trajectory, ie he will be capable until election day but not capable of being president for another term, thus he can stay as president but can't run again

Because if the current president can't continue his job we'll be unburdened by what has been?

Most credible argument is that he’s actually ok mentally (just flubs and mixes up words a lot) and the story that he’s completely impaired is mostly propaganda. However the propaganda got so successful that he and dems decided that they have a better shot at winning if he drops out of campaign.

Same reason every US President keeps their job: they do what the Oligarchs tell them to do. Not sure what this has to do with a Cuban missile crisis, the US is the one with missiles stationed all over the planet pointing at dozens of other countries. In a crisis, Biden would do what he's told he has to do just like Trump would.

He is unfit not because of his decline today, but the decline we expect to see after another year or two.

because he’s been “operating” for nearly four yrs & a few more months is negligible him resigning creates 10x more disarray then current status quo

Only credible argument is that his cognitive impairment isn't that bad now, but will be in 4 years.

Announcing both on the same day would cause anxiety? It would make sense to me if the administration is spacing those out. Doubt it’ll last 100 days.

he’s not gonna say he’s dropping out cuz he can’t do the job anymore/ has some sort of impairment he’s going to say he was unelectable despite still being qualified and it’s more important to the country for the dems to win/ trump to lose than try and change peeps minds about his electability

Basically the same reasons that explain why Trump is a popular political candidate but couldn’t get hired to run any Fortune 500 company. One is a beauty contest. The other is a real job, but as Trump demonstrated it can be done while golfing several times a week. Doesn’t seem that hard tbh.
