How do we, as users, believe or trust unaudited numbers that are no longer subject to any regulatory scrutiny? Wouldn’t be the first time that Elon has just made stuff up

I believe this. Twitter is a sensationalist news app, and currently, there’s lots of polemic conversation to be had about what’s happening in the world in addition to consumption of real-time reporting, which people still expect from Twitter.

I lately hit an all-time high in "regretted user time" on Twitter. But Twitter was always a strange platform, def more closed than Facebook. Maybe by opening up to more people and making it more normie-friendly they'll make it profitable.
