Vance is winning. He's coming off very personable and making himself sound moderate. He'll see a bump after tonight. But not sure if people liking the VP will do anything.

I think it’s because they’ve both been mostly coherent.

Better substance by a mile from the presidential debate.

I would say it was a lot closer than the previous one, and you know I'm a lefty. A couple moments stood out though.

I never bother to even try to watch the debates.  I'll read the recaps.  Their voices annoy me, and knowing I've studying more political history and theory than most of them ever have or will irks me a bit.

Is my guy winning, or are debates an unimportant waste of time?

It's just the same with their idea that they are the right ones. If you're too blinded by idolism, you always think you are winning.

Good analysis i generally agree all though I give the edge to vance 

However, walz had really good answers that really hurt jd(abortion,  guns and housing) and several answers that I think play better to the center, because jds answers were good but in the context of what vance has said last 4 years came off real bad for vance. I think jd wins the snap polling but I think walz had way more impact for his candidate

Makes sense, that's how debates usually are. The other debates this year were anomalies in that there was a pretty solid consensus there was a clear winner

I saw two grown adults largely agreeing on what the problems are facing our country today, proposing different solutions, and debating the merits of the various solutions. It was actually incredibly refreshing.

There was no "winner". They both effectively argued their case and left it to us to decide which approach is best.
