What does Farcaster look like in the near term? At some point this summer: 1. Coinbase Wallet will have a Farcaster-powered feed in their mobile app with millions of existing users. This will be the most significant increase to practical decentralization of the protocol since the beginning. 2. Our app will be called Farcaster. Easy to explain to the average personโ€”"download Farcaster in the App Store". 3. Sign ups for most people will be free. Link your X / Twitter account and no payment required. 4. Wallet will be available on web. And thanks to auth addresses, no more "please open your phone to continue using this mini app". 5. Wallet and mini apps will expand their support to multiple chains. If there's an interesting app in crypto, the goal will be to have it play nicely with Farcaster. 6. We're going to continue scaling our weekly reward programs: iterating on casting and building mini apps, but we're also working on a new version of the invite program that rewards referrals AND retention.

on 3, will X/Twitter be the only account type you can link to enable free? IG, tiktok etc? I see a user type who comes in by way of mini apps who doesn't use twitter much / at all. My guess is those who don't use twitter (aren't on CT) are also the least likely to pay to signup.

How do I explain to new users that the app is farcaster but there are other apps like recaster and firefly built on farcaster but this are also different from mini apps I think a tutorial video will just make it easier for everyone ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Can we get one from the merkle team?

What is the main driver of connecting X? What about others like github/instagram/mobile phone etc.? I need to understand the strategy here because if you become an identity layer, miniapps can easily expand to other networks.
