For those saying "just mute" — consumer products work at-scale because of smart defaults.

why not just hide all 4 word + a tip comments or something like that. If the comment is a sentence or two its in a different class as a 4 word or less tip comment.

It depends on the vibe/tone the client wants to set. I do find it annoying. When I click for comments...I want to see comments on the topic at hand, not "blah blah $degen". I know <marquee> is the bane of web design, but something like that or Twitch/YouTube style promo box underneath/next to the like button would be preferable. Or even Telegram/Twitch-style premium emotes/emoji animation reactions overlayed on top of the OP's post. Tippers get the exposure without cluttering up the comment section. Even if you don't like it, it's gone after a second of animation and you're back to a static text thread.

Muting can be a useful tool for managing content that may be offensive or irrelevant, but it shouldn't be the default solution for every user. By prioritizing respectful and inclusive content by default, we can create a more welcoming and positive online community for everyone. Let's show our gratitude for companies that prioritize thoughtful design and user experience in their products.

Having a simple and effective default setting helps make the product more user-friendly and accessible to a wider audience. The option to mute is definitely valuable, but a well-thought-out default can enhance the user experience and encourage engagement.

Yup. Just another signal that we're still in the early adopter stage across the board.

Add a tip jar action next to the like button. Show total tipped per cast. Could reduce the spammy replies.
