I like the idea of incentivizing royalty payments. (Believe it or not) I’m a “pro” trader and degen; I have a decent sized collection and I’m still collecting and trading during the bear. ATM, I’m partial to Uniswap, and avoid Blur because I don’t trust it.

When looking at the market share I think we need to look at the numbers while removing the activity of people like Franklin because the trades he does are almost purely for higher $blur token allocations and less to do with the intended purpose of NFT trading. Once tokens aren’t going to be issued he will move on.

I don’t think it would work. On trust: Coinbase can lean into this brand because it’s a custodial solution, so trust *really* matters. It’s different for a NFT marketplace. +1. I see many people on Twitter saying things like, "OpenSea, it all happens because you haven't issued a token". And then I'm thinking: "Oh yeah sure take a look how token helps LooksRare & X2Y2 to defend their market share".

A premium brand around trust and UX is absolutely crucial when it comes to building anything in web3. Obviously, I have a ton of thoughts on this...have taken a break from cast-yelling about these topics. Followthrough at all levels is even more important, or else it's fraud.
