Good use for the preview/undo interstitial: classify some common mistakes and present a suggestion. "Are you sure you want to post a 2-char message? Low quality posts can get marked as spam by others"

How does a cast get marked spam? Some automated system? FC team flagging them? Or channel owners? (Do channels have owners?)

You're free to do whatever you want outside of a channel. But if casting into a channel, should be on-topic.

We can't do anything to the cast at the protocol level, but we can hide from the channel feed at the Warpcast app level.

Because there will be people who do not care, or are not rational / honest actors. Some type of automated or peer monitoring system will be necessary.

There’s a tipping point where community norms and self moderation will not be enough to ensure proper use. Hopefully something is in place before takeoff, and I would love a take off 😁

We need diverse solutions to address the spam issue; otherwise, I believe the problem of centralization might arise…

gm with a photo is fine -- this is more basic guidance to the many accounts randomly saying gm in channels about software development, etc.

I'm not new but not fully onboarded onto channels I suppose. Had no idea that GMs weren't allowed in the Photography channel. 

Worth noting that the GM response button is enabled there. Perhaps remove GM from channels and warn if post contains the string?

BTW it there spam api/dao voting for farcaster now?

Reddit succeeded in reinforcing its early culture for years by presenting rules, but when they hit scale it overwhelmed the rules mentions.

People singing in to warpcast should be presented the rules, if you want to have some order. Or specific rules popup on channel follow
