After Farcaster is permissionless next week, there will be zero dependencies on Warpcast.

If you don’t like direction of the protocol, could fork Hubs and use an open source client like Opencast to offer a competing network.

The existing network will have to compete by building something people want.

If you’re reading this cast on a Farcaster app today, we’re trying to find 1000x more people like you. :)

We’re going to be focused on growing quality DAU. No focus on vanity metrics like MAU or sign ups.

If we can grow quality users, that will lead to quality content / engagement, which will attract more users.

If quality DAU gets high enough, protocol gets more attractive for developers building new stuff.

I can’t wait for permissionless Farcaster. So excited.
