Small improvement to Trending feed algorithm on Warpcast Made a few changes over the weekend and today, should be a bit better as a placeholder going forward. Need something better long term that boosts new interesting accounts. Will continue to iterate. cc @timdaub.eth who has been asking for a while

(Algorithm is not public. Relatively small % of people actually look at trending on a given day. Other clients will have different and possibly / likely better algorithms!)

Me and many others are seeing the same cast at the top of our feeds for 12+ hours even after having interacted with it after the recent changes. Needs adjusted for sure.

Maybe you can add some "Explore" block to the right column on computer? Most people use phones, but it is an easy fix.

How about creating weekly cohorts of users who join Warpcast. They are promoted within each other, until someone proves tobe worthy of a larger audience. Benefits; 1. All the cohort members feel like they are on the same page. 2. They generate engagement withing their. 3. Easily identify greater creators.

::ponders:: might be more outta the box than what WC can handle but.. could new users be shown a selc of casts in their feed a few times a day that the algo knows range vry high val to vry low val. If user interacts w only the best casts they get vis boosts. logic: if can recognize "best" more likely to produce "best"?
