If keep Priority mode on, you won't see casts like this from people you don't follow. Casts like this from people you don't follow make people mad. Is this spam? How would you classify? What happens when a "good" user does this ironically?

I've been just trying to use mute liberally. If user receives too many "mutes", would just analyze their casts for further processing (spam, bot, troll, etc). Understand this can be used maliciously so have to account for that somehow.

The difference between a good user and active user defines it. While you go to their profile, spend a minute and probably get an idea what their objective is with the account. Guess the classification line is blurring. Go with the gut. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค

There are bad but when these are DMs they're really bad - so filtering DMs by follow / power badge like X would be really good

I used to respond to these kindly. "Hey fren. People usually give tips to people who create cool art, contribute thoughtful insights, build cool tools, share alfa, and make memes. Asking for tips usually results in getting blocked. Share what you can do and the tips will flow." Maybe make soft rejections a cast action.

we're not quite to the reddit/slashdot meta voting where one could pick a number to curate their feed personally ok to scroll past content I don't care for was raised on public TV and commercials, so what I don't care for is tuned out and always looking for the diamonds in the rough

Itโ€™s low quality content. But a lot of us have been trained for 20+ years to help friends with this type of engagement. We need time to unlearn.

It should take a lot of social capital to not follow the norms of warpcast algorithmic correctness and survive. (And I can't decide if this is irony or a technical solution.)

โ€œYour generosity knows no limits ser please serโ€๐Ÿ˜‚ It is spam I count it as spam. Dms on x are flooded with demands from random people to send them crypto. On purple app they are straight up casts
