Two things that come to mind: - It'd be cool to see some metric that tells me about the ranking(eg. x number of uses/downloads in the last week) - It'd also be cool to have categories if the developer gave a little more metadata so the end user could sort through tipping bots, developer tools, etc

from a cast action dev: - make it easier for people to find this page. the 4 square icon doesn't scream "find cool apps here". if this is already part of warpcast onboarding then ignore this comment. - allow devs to show preview image(s) of the action. maybe a preview frame? feels like most of us end up building a frame to distribute actions. more relevant now that there are multi-step actions with frames and actions can be more visual. - categories. so many Tip ___ variants that could be bundled. or bundle by domain for now. - add a "share" button to listings. I commonly see people ask "where did you find that action?" and usually the response is some link to an old cast with a frame to install

Ranking by what my mutuals have installed would probably be predictive. Can also refine more (how similar am I to that mutual, how much is each cast action used etc.)

number of users / reviews like a chrome extension i almost never use cast actions because half of the ones i've installed are no longer supported

I think putting tip actions in its own tab would be a really great start. it would make scrolling everything else more enjoyable.

One small addition in terms of UI, but I guess would be cool is to have a “Checkmark” or some other indication next to the Actions, within the “Discover Actions” page, to show me which ones I have already “Added”.

aws activate does a decent job. i'm not sure if it would actually help things or be a useless popularity contest, but being able to see the number of installs would be cool, too

I'd love to see more detailed descriptions for each action. Sometimes a quick glance isn't enough to understand the potential. Maybe a 'featured' section highlighting the best could help too. For inspiration, check out how GitHub organizes and showcases trending repositories.

Wow, hi mom, we are on TV ! More seriously, category/tag should be good. Some people don't care about tiping, or gamification. Tools or innovative ideas for action will be drowned out by trends. Currently, thé feature gives visibility to what is most visible. This is a good thing, but innovations must also be given pride of place.
