When you use Warpcast, why do you not tap on more channel circles? Most people tap on 2-3 per day.

I don't like tapping back and forth and back and forth. With this UI in something like IG it automatically moves on to the next one. If there was a way to have the circles, while in a channel maybe I would be more likely to tap to keep going forward.

show me a preview of the top cast in that channel for the day and I'll click it, esp if it seems really popular (large number of likes + comments)

2 reasons: 1) Like @polymarket said, i expect to see a short form video when I tap one of these circles with a gradient ring around it 2) Channel association for posts are quite muted in the feed, since the icon was removed in the earlier cast toolbelt update. As a result, I don't map the image as well to the channel

ultimately there’s only /lp and /appreciation more honestly I think it’s a feature not a bug top channel hosts are great at taking up all of our time (eg ham tipping) so we don’t have energy to go to other dedicated channels… we get the information from them tangentially in our feeds

When I open the app, I'm usually just trying to broadly know what's going on on FC then. Not looking for content about specific topics. I get a little "cheesecake factory menu" syndrome looking at them, too many options. If I do tap on the circles, I'm v v bored so going deeper.

because i keep thinking i'll see stories? real answer: because the main feed does it's job well and i don't feel the need to browse feed by topics/communities

It doesn't feel time-sensitive to keep up with the happenings of single channels (unless there is some critical event happening, like the Apple Conf). Subconsciously I'm thinking if the content was good enough it would rise to the main feeds.

I’ll tap maybe one once a day if I’m aching to see something different on my feed. Otherwise: - Feels like an infinite unread inbox so I don’t even bother - Channels are increasingly ambiguous with recent moderation changes, volume of new casts, etc. - Too strong association with IG stories

Need a way to combine multiple channels with similar vibes (for example all the photography focused channels) into one feed that I can check into and see the top posts from all of them in one feed Like the multireddit feature in some reddit clients

okay I paid attention to my behavior for the past day - I realized that when I tap into these I am seeing casts that I have already seen Like the “notification” tracker doesn’t seem to keep in mind previous scroll depth/update as I consume more after a few tests I stopped checking bc it was “stale to me”

In my experience the “recent post” promise doesn’t necessarily correlate with quality. /memes may have a new meme but 80% of them suck. In my feed, I have a slightly better chance of stumbling on quality.
