You’d think for consistently active quality users the rate would adjust or be removed but I guess not 

It’s removed spam but also quality ppl from participating. Oh well 🤷🏿‍♂️

But out of these teams…who got funded for the first time? Are these VC funds only deployed to western countries only? 

From what I’ve seen it’s really been the folks who’ve historically gotten funding in this space and they are concentrated within US, UK, EURO and that’s about it.
