depends on the video and speed of the talker: short/meme videos: 1x talks and podcasts: 1.5x screen recordings and instructionals: 2x

1.5 is often the sweet spot for me balancing speed and understandability. Occasionally do 2x if I want to get through something, especially if I know it is a part that is dragging on and I'd rather skip over but also not entirely in case something interesting pops up. 1.0 is usually when I forget that I can speed things up.

depending on how attentive im being it's either 1.25x or 1.5x. voted 1.25x bc it's a sweet spot for when 1.5x seems overwhelming and difficult to follow bc big words are being thrown around.

TikTok has a feature where you can hold down the right side of the screen just above the users PFP and it 2X speeds. So dope.

Honestly it depends on the type of video and how relevant it is and also how fast the narrator is talking. I once watched a course in 2.0x because the narrator was slow.
