iCloud and Google account are most secure thing for vast majority of people.

Yep, to be clear, this is utilizing webauthn under the hood, saving the seed phrase as a largeBlob. LargeBlob support requires an enclave that issues two keys: one for the webauthn credential (which is unused because most providers don't support secp256k1), and a corresponding largeBlob key to enc/decrypt the blob.

backing up to iCloud... yikes...yeah Uniswap is doing it too...but I hope people don't want to continue being a Apple/Google/Microsoft slave....there are WebAuthn implementation out there

I.e. During signup, Warpcast creates your random key, uses it to register a signer, and forgets it. Right? This is something worth advertising in a more prominent way.

Works on iCloud but couldn’t get it to work with saving the passkey in 1password
