PSA We’re a US-based company. We have to follow financial regulations. This means 1) there are certain countries we cannot provide financial services to and 2) >$600 a year requires everyone to complete a W8 / W9 if they want to continue to receive payments from us. If you would prefer not to provide that, that’s OK. But we can’t pay you.

could you implement a complete opt out for receiving rewards as well as contributing to someone else’s points towards rewards?

I’m genuinely curious how many opt in and opt out. I understand it’s a legal compliance issue for FC. It’s just a whole other thing for people in crypto and I’m curious what the community chooses. Numbers not names obviously

All my homies hate US regulations is the 600$ threshold for weekly rewards only? or for airdrops too? bc airdrops are just other companies sending money to our wallet, not FC

Its ok you can simply send all the unclaimed weekly rewards to my wallet. I will gladly spend them in miniapps for unqualified users

Curious if that will change as the year continues… it’s definitely possible considering climate.

Not sure why people are tripping. Standard tax law for anyone that earns anything over $600 from any U.S. entity. Bonus, you can file a schedule c on your taxes!
