How to improve your leaderboard ranking

1. Choose a niche to a top 1% caster on Farcaster today and try to have one extra thoughtful cast a day (like a mini blog post)

2. More generally, cast *a lot* (many times a day); doesn't need to be about the above niche

3. Use catchy, brief titles, see @balajis

4. Make your casts text-heavy

5. Write text in short paragraphs (2-3 lines max); avoid wall of text

6. Include one embed only (link/image/video)

7. Engage: Reply to comments

8. Direct message followers your most important posts

9. Create niche-focused group chats and post links to your casts to help kickstart engagement

re: 8 -- this assume you've already started a direct cast convo -- which you should do with anyone who you are regularly trading replies / engagement with in your feed

this isn't really something i'd ever thought about doing, but now that you mention it i know some people who have engaged with me this way and i really appreciated it .. anyways, thanks for flagging
