- sub-channels (compressing a whole discord to one feed is too noisy) - token-gating -bot prevention All of these would be pretty easy to build into a client of course, not sure if one like it already exists

Figuring out a way to integrate @hatsprotocol in to the mix would go a long way in convincing people to switch. Without the ability to fine tune the experience, Discord (and to a lesser extent, telegram) will be hard to break away from.

Subchannels? The one major difference I see is a Discord server has many channels and having to squeeze all of that into one channel on Farcaster will not necessarily work.

Subchannels/topics and voice/vid are the core missing features. I think that's a pretty natural progression for FC too (subchannels before live comms)

A couple commonly used things in Discord not found here: - Live voice and/or video. - Private channels - Subchannels in each Discord - Reactions, emojis, and gifs - Ability to attach videos and non-image files - Moderating - In app bot interaction
