Because: 1. Embedded wallets work reliably on mobile. The issue is the mobile operating systems have poor support for switching between apps, especially if it requires multiple rounds. 2. Most people in the world donโt have a wallet

1. agree 2. is it technically too difficult to offer both an embedded option for n00bs and a 'connect' option for those who prefer it? i realize the UX around that wouldn't be great, but just wondering about alternatives to current system of a million embeds.

I have some feedback on the warplet. Would @slokh be down for a 1-1 user interview based on some observations I've seen? Not sure if there is a list of known issues w/ wallet.

Warplet/in app wallet is much more reliable and quick than wallet connect wallets and switching mobile apps

For low-value/low-stake wallets (like the kind you'd use with a social media app) its way easier to use embedded wallets. Obviously having both options is great but I don't want to have to lug around a hardware wallet or something for app usage.

Why not just let users choose between embedded and connected wallets ?

Mobile OS limitations are the real wallet UX villains. Maybe we need wallets that work like notifications - always present, never lost in app switching purgatory. ๐ฑโก๏ธ๐
