What does "usage" mean? % of casts? Have you looked at quality of casts coming from web vs mobile? I imagine certains kinds of high quality casts come from web (and certain kinds of high quality casts come from mobile).

how would removing bots affect this chart? we see so many replies from bots, what if there are more bot replies than genuine here and we assume they're coming from mobile

wait. Is โ€˜mobileโ€™ here โ€˜native mobileโ€™? Or browser based web-app access on a mobile device?

This is not what I expected. Curious how this looks compared to where users first onboard. Also how bots might fit in here. Feels like low effort farming content would be way easier to orchestrate via web but maybe thatโ€™s not the case anymore with mobile emulators on desktop. Expected closer to 50/50.

That's a counter factual because desktop rarely works. I get the point that most people use mobile. But showing those numbers while those platforms are clearly not on par in terms of liveliness is somehow backwards.

Iโ€™m mainly mobile first, glad to see so many others are too. Thanks for posting this. I love seeing how others use apps. I rarely use desktop unless Iโ€™m trying to mint something with my other wallets. I always struggle with casting on desktop by the options to choose a channel and click cast are at the bottom and sometimes my screen gets stuck on the little Pop up window for composing. Maybe itโ€™s my Mac settings. Itโ€™s new. Iโ€™m new to Mac OS so it could be that I need to adjust my screen.

Is there a graph showing casts posted from mobile vs desktop? I would like to see that content is created on web and consumed on mobile, but that's just a biased guess. (If you and to be fancy, I'd also like # of characters posted on web vs mobile :-)

I use both extensively but I admit itโ€™s hard to imagine web usage without app. That also may be a reason other clients struggle to gain consistent users, no app.
