Channel Leads We're going to try an experiment for the next 6 weeks. For 20 or so channels, we're going to have a *lead*. A few things: - Limiting to 20 to start and will be varying certain criteria to test hypotheses. - If the experiment works, we'll have higher conviction on working to get permissionless channels in Warpcast - If the experiment doesn't work, we'll try something else Goal is to increase protocol DAU.

Why not make channels permissionless now? - I discussed this on the public dev call last week: https://youtu.be/yQTIlpBJmNE?t=1603 I don't like this idea?! You should do X... - Our top priority is still about getting the protocol to 100% permissionless, which is on track for within the next month or so.

Are channel leads going to be able to distribute reputation to users in the channels? It might help control the quality of the feeds and facilitate them being permissionless. Instead of the algo curating the content it helps the admins curate the users.
