How would you improve this page? Goal is to be able to send this to prospective onchain builders to answer the question "why frames?" After we get the messaging right, will invest some time in making it a proper marketing website. https://warpcast.notion.site/Why-Frames-18b6a6c0c101804da34bc143469883df

“Why Frames” presupposes the dev has enough familiarity with FC to know what frames are, but not enough to know what they do. This is kind of a weird entry point. Alt might be “Why Farcaster?”, followed by “Get instant distribution for your web app in as little as 10 minutes using Frames”

A little more personal/story feel .... - something in the first sentence about what converting to a mini-app does.... get in front of 10,000 people native in FC with people who love using frames (or whatever---not my knowledge base) - a personal story from a good frame person here on FC on how it changed their reach/project.... tldr or someone saying, "my project was struggling to get people to leave FC and engage but when we made it a frame and people could stay in FC engagement was up and to the right (again, or whatever...)

@dwr.eth I'll share a bit a story why frames were so important to me. Back when it launched I was writing my newsletter in Substack, then I saw the post that @colin made for paragraph and I switched 360 degree to Onchain creation. I integrated all my articles to Paragraph and because it could be accessed by frames, in one day I gained almost 100 subscribers for my newsletter. That's how important were frames and still are for my small success as a writer here.

I'd simplify it. Something like this. https://docs.google.com/document/d/192NvBziL9vYgbqcUiAOBWcEayr2K-4ECL_C2S28I4To/edit?usp=sharing

highlight distribution more - first line at the top could be "get your first 10 onchain users"

"Transform your web app into an installable mini-app in as little as 10 minutes." - is bad messaging. doesn't solve any problem, much less an emotional one. focus instead on reach to users with wallets natively collected rough draft: "distribute your web app to 100k+ social accounts with linked wallets and twitter handles in less than 10 minutes" i suspect @kugusha.eth and @samuellhuber.eth have some thoughts here on why the morpho frame was so good, that's the nerve to strike imo

Personally I would reorder the value props and put distribution at the top of that bulleted list Would also add testimonials. Listening to @chuckstock on @gmfarcaster I think they mentioned rolling out in several places including frames v2 and Telegram. Can also speak volumes to the quality of users

I’d move the Footy App to the center of the screen shot. More seriously, I’d refer to this as Frame Technology. Apps are built using Farcaster Frame Technology. https://warpcast.com/kmacb.eth/0xc2c60520

If they already have a product somewhere else, Now & Then would be helpful. “products saw an increase in usage by 37% by adding frame capability.

A bit more concrete information on how a frame gets featured? Is that something that happens automatically based on engagement? Or is it flagged by power users on here? How tangible is that for new farcaster users like myself without much of a following already?

gave it a stab here: https://mosayeri.notion.site/Why-Frames-18b4d38f9bf5809b9058cf5776410b63?pvs=4 farcade demo: doesn't really showcase any of the Frame benefits. it mainly just showcases Farcade. yoink video: great user journey. but the video is too fast. if the user isn't familiar with Warpcast and Yoink they kind of have no idea what's happening.

Cuz if you build them on Twitter, you'll get nerfed, and if you build them on Telegram, you'll be rugged. Farcaster is the unruggable social network.

0. pick a handful of strong web apps. bonus points for examples that are today offchain but obvious use cases (e.g. fandango, eBay) 1. build out fake flows demonstrating the frame (buy a ticket from a cast; respond to auction notif). hand-wave the payment screens 2. use these videos to highlight each benefit

The hook message can be more direct and informative. Example: "Ship faster, onboard users instantly, and boost retention with Frames." Instead of saying "Transform your web app into an installable mini-app in as little as 10 minutes." And instead of learn more maybe a quick start guide "two minute walkthrough on Frames" , "sample repo"
