Most interesting tidbit from TK interview: 18% of all online delivery in the US goes through Cloud Kitchens.

Just watched the podcast, his robot kitchens are absolutely mindblowing. load up with ingredients during the day and it just dispenses them into different dishes with nobody really working there.

From above the API to below the API. Much easier to avoid public criticism

That doesn't surprise me. I suspect that number will grow as more and more companies realize they can reduce overhead by running their brand through Cloud Kitchens and similar enterprises.

Crazy, I get “Forkables” at work now, they rotate between 5-6 restaurants a day, no idea if they are using a cloud kitchen or not. For corporate food delivery they have to be right?

For those of us not in the US, what’s a cloud kitchen? Googled it but still don’t get it

I think this % will keep going higher because most traditional restaurants aren’t adapting and providing competition
