What made Farcaster stick as a daily habit you? And if you’re infrequent / inconsistent (but happen to see this), what has you checking the app but not having it be a daily habit?

The network was small and early and seeded with real, awesome, values-aligned people And that vibe is still here as DAUs have grown

A perfect storm Timing, I was going through something personal and was probably just open to new habits Twitter was sucking I wanted to explore decentralized social, crypto philosophy sucked me in And the playful and engaging energy from early friends 👀 could name dozens but @cameron stands out the most

Great UX in warpcast. Doesn’t feel like shouting into a vacuum. Mostly good feels and smart people. A strong belief in the team and the technology.

It felt familiar to me; like early crypto twitter. It was also the only decentralized social protocol that seemed like it had a reasonable model and path forward. Combined with a solid community, it was something worth investing in.

The death of Reddit’s API on June 30. I was a decade-long heavy redditor via the Apollo app. I quit cold-turkey in protest. Warpcast was on my fifth iOS page and had been collecting dust for months after I signed up. I moved it to the first page in the same place where Apollo once was. Muscle memory did the rest.

Channels and NFTs NFT discovery in situ was a great hook, channels then doubled down on actual conversations. The quality of replies matters significantly and was made the difference for me. Recruit more communities imo

High concentration of builders and people having genuine, insightful conversations. Every time I come to Farcaster I end up learning something new or trying something new.
